Broadcasting With Excellence and Purpose
Born in Oakland, California, and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Shaunte’ Garrett—known to listeners as Lady Shaunte’—built an impressive career in entertainment, broadcasting and ministry.
Her professional journey has included work with Soul Train, MTV and the Source Awards in their talent departments. She later became a Stellar Award-winning gospel radio announcer and serves as an on-air host and station manager at The Gospel Nashville 790 AM and 99.1 FM.
She is a former writer for the nationally syndicated Donnie McClurkin Radio Show and the author of the inspirational 365-day devotional, Speak to Your Life.
Her community service has included involvement with Kairos Prison Ministry in San Diego County and The Bridge Ministry in Nashville, serving women, families and people experiencing homelessness. She has also served as a life-group leader and prayer partner.
