Born in Oakland, California, and raised in the San Francisco bay area, Shaunte’ Garrett, AKA “Lady Shaunte’”, was  named one of the Forty Under 40 “Inspired Leaders For Tomorrow” by the San Diego Urban League and one of Ebony Magazine’s Sexy Singles of the year!  She has worked for Soul Train, MTV, and the Source Awards in their talent departments. Lady Shaunte’ is a Stellar Award Winning Gospel radio announcer and is presently the on-air mid-day host and station manager at 790AM & 99.1FM “The Gospel” in Nashville TN which she led to another Stellar Award Win for radio station of the year in 2013 formerly under (WENO 760AM).
